Clinical Project Assistant – Buckinghamshire – 9 month contract

Are you an experienced CTA looking for your next challenge? 

Our client is looking for a talented individual to work as a CTA in their busy Clinical Team specialising in Urology/ Neurology and Pain/ Eye Care.  The successful candidate will have a proven track record of pro-activity, initiative and drive for results.

You will be working to support a growing and evolving company so a “work-outside-the-box-mentality” will be the key to your success.

Responsibilities:-

·         Creating, tracking and filing of essential documents

·         Prepare site filing systems

·         Liaise with Ethical Review Boards (ERBs) regarding submission dates/requirements and compile and distribute completed ERB submissions.

·         Ordering of Clinical Trial (CT) material

·         Ordering and management of non-drug stocks

·         Preparation of study tools/diaries etc

·         Prepare start up/Site initiation meeting tools

·         Organise start up/investigator meetings

·         Liaise with Finance to track and make study related payments to trial sites and close out budget at the end of the study

·         Track recruitment

·         Collate and ship Case Report Forms (CRFs) to the Regional Data Management Centre

·         Send out study newsletters/correspondence

·         Prepare documentation for close out

·         Archiving of in-house files and third party archiving for sites

·         Arrange for destruction of ‘non-archive’ materials post study

·         Flexible working across one or more Therapeutic Area (TA)

·         Tracking and Reporting of Safety Mailings

·         General study filing

The CPA role gives you the unique opportunity as an administrator and as a member of the Clinical Trials team to be involved in a variety of aspects of the clinical trial process. You should be familiar with the Pharmaceutical industry with up-to-date knowledge of appropriate legislation, have excellent administrative and meeting management skills and IT knowledge.
